All students in grades 1-8 take the adaptive Measures of Academic Progress (MAP) tests each school year. These tests are administered on the computer and adjust to each student's level of performance in reading and math. MAP reports provide each student's Growth Targets in reading and math. These Growth Targets are generated from MAP norms. The Growth Targets are the average growth for students in the same grade who start with the same RIT score as that student. This chart shows yearly Fall to Spring Growth Target results for 3rd to 8th grade students. For more information on MAP Growth Targets, please click here to see a video.
