LaGrange Highlands School District 106 serves students from parts of Countryside, Indian Head Park, La Grange, and Western Springs. Students in Early Childhood through eighth grade make up the District 106 family. From academics to co-curricular programs of athletics and music, we strive to ensure every child reaches his/her potential.

Walk/Bike to School Event a Huge Success!

Did Highlands' families turn out for our annual participation in International Walk/Bike to School day?? YES THEY DID! On this gorgeous morning, children and parents walked, biked, skipped, scootered, rolled, and wagoned their way to school! Thank you, Highlands, for another turnout that highlights our sense of community!

Halloween Candy Collection for the Troops

SOS Service Club is once again teaming up with CHT Orthodontics and (R)evolution Architecture to collect Halloween candy for the troops. Students can bring their leftover Halloween candy and a note to a soldier to their classrooms from Nov. 1 to Nov. 6. CHT Orthodontics and (R)evolution Architecture will ship the candy and notes to the troops. They will also donate up to $500 to a local food pantry on our behalf. Last year we collected almost 1,000 pounds of candy. Let’s do it again.
