We serve the communities of Countryside, LaGrange, Lagrange Highlands, Indian Head Park, and Western Springs in two schools in the same building: Highlands Elementary (PreK - 4) and Highlands Middle (5-8).

March 17 Board Meeting Rescheduled to March 24
The LaGrange Highlands School District 106 Regular Meeting of the Board of Education has been rescheduled from March 17, 2026 to March 24, 2026.
 
Public Act 104-0438 (signed into law on November 21, 2025 with an effective date of January 1, 2026) amended the Open Meetings Act to prohibit a public body from scheduling or holding a meeting on the day of any general primary election, general election, consolidated primary election, or consolidated election.

            
        
2026 - 2027 Kindergarten Registration
Our Kindergarten registration will be from March 23  through March 26 and again from April 7 through April 10.  Our Kindergarten Registration is in-person.  Please RSVP for your registration date and time slot HERE. 
When coming in for registration, please bring the following items:
Child's Birth Certificate
Proof of Residency (Click the link for required documents)
Picture of your child
